Hrithik and Khans join hands!
Abhiash wedding has given a birth to completely new alliance in Bollywood - The Roshans and Khans. Snubbed by Big B and his family Roshan junior has said to have developed close ties with both SRK and Salman.
At the World Cup cricket soiree thrown by SRK at Mannat, the bond between Hrithik and Khans simply couldn’t be missed.
Hrithik Roshan's hearty participation has left industry watchers wondering whether Abihsihek's childhood friend has now joined the Khan camp?
Hrithik, encouraged by his Khan pals, danced to every number from Dhoom 2 bringing to mind the notorious 'lip smooch' with Aishwarya, which is said to have caused a rift between the Bachchans and Hrithik.
The Khans, as well as Karan Johar joined him on the dance floor as Priyanka Chopra and Preity Zinta - with their boyfriends Harman Baweja and Ness Wadia - looked on with amusement, while Bollywood's biggest heroes bonded together!

No deal between Hrithik Roshan and Adlabs
Adlabs never signed a multi-crore deal with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan on paper.
A lot was written about a deal between Hrithik and Adlabs under which the Junior Roshan was supposed to do three films for Rs 36 crores, which apparently made him the most expensive star in Bollywood.
But now reports are that no such deal was signed.
Reports quote an industry source as saying, “Initially, everything was hunky-dory. But after stories about Hrithik Roshan’s Rs 36 crore three-film contract appeared in the press, talks between him and Adlabs soured. Presently, no such deal exists.”
When asked about the status of Hrithik’s deal, Adlabs chairman and managing director Manmohan Shetty said, “I have no clue how the news got splashed all over the media. The fact is that it is only a proposal. If anything significant happens, we will announce it. As of now, I have nothing to say on this.”

Hrithik Roshan invites you for World Cup Finals
Hrithik mania continues even as his JODHA AKBAR is still far way.
While his DHOOM 2 has just completed 100 days at the box office, he promises to stay in news and be close to his fans this World Cup. He has been roped in by TATA SKY as their brand ambassador and there are a series of interactive contests being planned for the users of the satellite services.
What makes this contest special is the fact that 50 lucky winners along with their families get to watch the World Cup Final match with Hrithik himself at his private theater! Now doesn't this offer simply sound 'dhoom'!

Kareena Kapoor opts out due to Hrithik Roshan
Kareena Kapoor is not doing Zoya Akhtar ’s directorial debut Kismat Talkies because of Hrithik Roshan .
Reports are that Hrithik had been having second thoughts about doing the project and now has officially opted out of the film.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, co-star Kareena too has given the project a miss.
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani (who runs Excel Entertainment along with partner and Zoya’s brother Farhan Akhtar ) had earlier said that they would start filming in May 2007 as Kareena had given dates from then on, but then Hrithik started demanding changes in the script making Zoya go hunting for a new hero.
It is learnt that she spoke to Akshay Kumar , but he too gave her the cold shoulder.
Apparently Kareena had allotted the same dates to Imtiaz Ali’s next film. A source says, “Once Hrithik opted out, Kareena decided not to do the film either.
When contacted, Imtiaz excused himself from telling when he is starting his film with Kareena. “I am sitting with some people. Let’s talk later,” he said.
The source adds, “Things haven’t been easy for Zoya from the time she planned the film. She was supposed to make her debut with a film titled ‘Luck — By Chance’ in 2004. Unfortunately, the film never took off.
But her tone clearly suggested that she was in no mood to defend the actors who have given her so much anxiety. them.

Shooting problems?
Has the shooting of JODHAA-AKBAR come to a standstill? That’s what a section of the media wants us to believe. There’s talk that Hrithik Roshan has injured himself, while Aishwarya Rai is busy with personal commitments, resulting in the Karjat shooting of the film going haywire.
“Not true,” Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV denies it outright, “The shooting is progressing smoothly. There could’ve been a cancellation of a day or two, but it happens with every film.” The gossip mills have also hinted that Hrithik and Ash’s shots are being canned separately. “They have individual sequences and there are combination shots as well. The fact that the two actors are participating in the ongoing schedule should silence the doubters,” Siddharth adds.
The ongoing schedule in Karjat should wrap up a major chunk of the film, Kapur adds. Hope this clarification puts an end to rumors!

When Hrithik Roshan met the Bachchans
Recently at Dabboo Ratnani's calendar launch Hrithik Roshan came face to face with Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan .
Post Hrithik’s kiss episode with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2 , the Bachchan clan was never spotted with Roshans.
But at Ratnani's calendar launch recently the Bachchans came face to face with Hrithik and a thaw was clearly visible.
The Bachchans walked into the party with Ash, and Hrithik like a thorough gentleman greeted Abhishek with a hug.
On the other hand, Abhishek congratulated Hrithik for his fabulous performance in ‘Dhoom 2’ and even Big B hugged Hrithik and praised him.
But some insiders claim that the tension from the kiss controversy have not vanished totally yet.
They exchanged pleasantries just because of the media battery that was present at the event in full force.
Clearly poor Ash was feeling awkward amidst these cold vibes but she managed to smile throughout the evening and even posed for the shutterbugs too.

Why Hrithik wants to gift John a thesaurus?
We think you’re Bollywood’s Man of the Moment…
It’s been a great year not just for me personally but also for our industry. All in all, there have been lots of happy endings. I’m just a
small part of this great victory of the entire industry.
But your films, Krrish and Dhoom 2, have spread maximum smiles among distributors?
It’s always the film that works. Sure, actors are the last link with the audience and they ultimately translate the director’s vision but
they can’t do anything alone. That said, I’m happy that my distributors are happy.
How do you look back at 2006?
I don’t look back because the only purpose it serves is that it inflates the ego. I always believe that I did almost enough for my films
but from the feedback, it seems that I did more than enough.
Are you your biggest critic?
Unfortunately, yes. I’m still looking for the negatives to come from the outside source that I can depend on. That will be so
convenient. I get more intrigued by the people who have found fault in my work. I keep them close to me.
Koi…Mil Gaya, Lakshya, Krrish, Dhoom 2 and now Jodha Akbar, all of them are about larger-than-life super guys; don’t you
want to play a common man now?
I’ve always been a dreamer. I feel that if something in your mind is possible to do, then that dream is not big enough. I’m intrigued
to know what my true potential is. The only way I can find that out is by pushing myself. Cinema should make you feel like a child.
I have this urge to break out and give something not seen before to my audience... stuff like time travel, futuristic fare and invisible
man.
What was more challenging, Krrish or Dhoom 2?
Definitely Krrish. And that’s because of the risk in the concept. Before we began Krrish, whenever we would tell anyone that the
film is about a superhero who wears a mask and a cape, people used to laugh.
What does success mean to you?
It means to be in complete control of your senses and to live without fear of being what you are, no matter what it is. It means
being evolved enough to work the hardest I can, purely for the love of it.

How do you explain the furore created by the kiss in Dhoom 2?
Did you like the kiss?
Yes, I think you were good but that doesn’t answer my question?
If you enjoyed it then I rest my case. Perfect.
What about the obscenity case filed by a Bihar lawyer against you and Aishwarya Rai?
Even talking about that lawyer would be giving him undue importance but I guess I have to say this once and for all. The man does
not even represent five or six people, it’s just his way of getting the TV crews in his office.
Are you the most expensive star after your Rs 35-crore three-film deal with Adlabs?
Remuneration is relative to the worth you pay for. And if you are offered a price without demanding it, things are quite obvious,
aren’t they?
John Abraham says you’re the most gorgeous man. Comment.
I guess I’d say thank you and gift him a thesaurus as a birthday gift.
Hrithik Roshan in 2007?
Well, he’s on to another big challenge in with Jodha Akbar. We are also working on Krrish 3 and should start shooting by the end of
next year.
How are you enjoying the role of dad to Hrehaan?
Oh, my best role ever. We call him Ray in the house. That’s become his nickname.
